Kind Generosity

My little nieces and nephews, whether here in Moçambique or back in the States, every single one of them is awesome. Today was an extremely special day, which brought together my nieces here in Balama to my niece in the States. My niece who lives in Washington state, Abbi, did what she thought was a simple gesture and sent me some of her dresses she had outgrown to give to my nieces here in Balama.

Not a single one of my nieces here in Balama, lives with her parents. They were either sent off by their parents to study here in Balama or sent off to relatives to clean and cook. Oftentimes, these kids are forgotten by their parents and mistreated by their relatives. Today was a  special day, for it was a day they felt appreciated, a day they felt like the little princesses they are.

Thank you so much for your generosity Abbi, I am positive they will forever remember this day. A special thanks to her parents, Roy and Cori,  who sent the package for her.
